Giving Back - Adopt Eve's Dogs

Have you ever wondered how companies can give back to the community in a meaningful way? At Art Collective International, we believe in the power of supporting local and international initiatives that make a difference. One such initiative that we are proud to be a part of is supporting Adopt Eve's Dogs.
What is Adopt Eve's Dogs?
Adopt Eve's Dogs is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dogs in need. Based in Taiwan, they rescue abandoned puppies and mistreated dogs and give them shelter, medical care, and love through foster homes. Their mission is to find loving forever homes for these animals and give them a second chance at a happy life in and outside of Taiwan. Most of the dogs they rescue are Formosan Mountain Dog mixes which are common in Taiwan and overflowing in the local shelters.

Our Experience With Adopt Eve's Dogs
Hello Everyone, Hansheng here. I first happened on Adopt Eve's Dogs instagram page when I was in Taipei, Taiwan earlier this year in April. I had always wanted a Formosan Mountain Dog/ mix ever since I was a child. My grandmother had some as companions and also to guard her fields, as she was a farmer. Her, coupled along side my love for dogs and always seeing them when I was a child growing up lead me to where I am now. Originally we were trying to adopt my now dog Xingye/ Seiya's sister but that didn't pan out. I ended up meeting Xingye/Seiya at the park near our Airbnb and absolutely fell in love with her. She was an inquisitive, calm, and well mannered pup, and her ears absolutely stole my heart. Her foster mom (Thank You Jihyun) had done an incredible job at training X and it showed how much she was loved and cared for... but she still needed a home.
After that we met up, and confirmed with my husband that we agreed on bringing her home. Everything fell into place quickly. Paying the adoption fees was easy and convenient. From there, it was logistics which Eve and her team (Thank You Eve and your incredible team!) did a wonderful job of getting everything together. We honestly didn't have to do much except drive to New York City to pick her up. Memorial Weekend came and we headed up with smooth sailing going northbound until we hit NYC which was covered in a dense fog. Got to the airport, waited for the volunteer (Thank You Debbie ) to bring her out, and we had our sweet puppy. Another drive back to our hotel in Edison, NJ where we were able to let her out and relieve herself. After a 15 hour flight, plus 6 hour drive back to Virginia. Xingye/ Seiya has been a wonderful new addition to our family. My husband and I are so lucky to have her with us and be a part of our family. She's been such a delight to have and to be with. She's come out of her shell and is growing into her own self on the road to becoming an adult dog (forever our baby girl).
Side note her name Xingye/ Seiya 星夜 means Starry Night, in Mandarin and Japanese.
Since bringing her home, I've been wanting to find a way to give back to Adopt Eve's Dogs, and this is what I've come up with so far. I also want to say Thank You, so incredibly much, to everyone in Adopt Eve's Dogs. It is hard, tireless work on all fronts, with so many dogs they are trying to rescue, re-home, and take care of, and you all do so much in making magic happen. So from the bottom of my heart, Thank you all for the work that you all do. Thank you for helping make our family and hearts fuller.
